Its working performance directly affects the running efficiency and safety of the whole equipment. However, in the harsh environment of dust, humidity and high temperature in mines, servo valves are easily polluted by dust, which leads to slow response, decreased control accuracy and even system failure. Therefore, how to effectively prevent dust from entering the servo valve is an important task to ensure the stable operation of the mine hydraulic system.

First of all, sealing design is the first line of defense against dust. Servo valves usually use high-performance sealing rings and dust covers to prevent external dust from invading the inside of the valve body. In mine application, it is suggested to choose wear-resistant and anti-aging sealing materials, such as fluororubber or polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), to cope with harsh environment. In addition, the installation position of the servo valve should try to avoid the area directly impacted by dust, and install a protective cover or sealed shell.

Secondly, regular maintenance and cleaning is the key to prolong the service life of servo valve. The dust particles in the mine working environment are mostly metal chips and ore dust, which have certain abrasiveness. Therefore, a regular inspection and cleaning system should be established, the filter element should be replaced in time, and the dust on the surface and connection parts of the valve body should be cleaned. At the same time, the cleanliness of hydraulic oil must also be strictly controlled. By using high-efficiency hydraulic oil filter, impurities can be prevented from entering the servo valve through the oil passage to cause blockage or wear.

Thirdly, optimize the design of hydraulic system to reduce the influence of dust. For example, installing a magnetic filter at the oil inlet of the servo valve can effectively absorb metal particles in the oil; Set an oil return filter in the hydraulic system to ensure that the circulating oil of the system keeps high cleanliness. In addition, a closed hydraulic oil tank structure and an air filter can be considered to prevent external dust from entering the oil tank with air.

Finally, it is also very important to choose servo valve products with dustproof ability. At present, there are mine servo valve products specially designed for harsh environment on the market, and their shell protection level is usually above IP65, which can work stably under dusty and humid conditions. When purchasing servo valves, enterprises should fully consider their applicable environment, and give priority to choosing brands and models with good dustproof performance.

To sum up, the dustproof work of mine servo valve is a systematic project, which needs comprehensive measures from structural design, daily maintenance, system optimization and equipment selection. Only through scientific and effective dust prevention measures can the normal operation of the servo valve be guaranteed to the greatest extent, thus improving the working efficiency, safety and stability of mining machinery.

In mining machinery and equipment, the servo valve, as a key component in the hydraulic system, undertakes the task of controlling the hydraulic actuator with high precision.
